On Monday, 15th July 2024, Selfridges welcomed the Jellycat Fish & Chips London van to its 4th Floor Toy Shop. Inspired by the classic British tradition, the van features retro details in Jellycat’s signature blue and a welcoming serving counter with uniformed staff ready to assist. Visitors can enjoy the charming, Fish and Chip shop – inspired wrapping of Jellycat characters - a must-see for collectors and fans alike.
A trio of extra-special characters will be available at Selfridges London, Birmingham and Manchester stores, but only at the Jellycat Fish & Chips van in London can visitors enjoy the full experience - beautifully wrapped in nostalgic packaging with a signature Jellycat twist:
• Lily Fish: A battered cod with a sweet smile and cute tail, sure to be the best catch of the day.
• Cosy Chips: A cuddly portion of chirpy chips wrapped in newspaper; the finest in London!
• Dot and Peg Mushy Peas: A duo of fluffy peas, inseparable pals embodying the spirit of friendship.
A chippy tea is never complete without all the trimmings! Additional fish & chip-themed Jellycat characters are available to buy off the shelf:
• Charlie Chip: A charming chap with a big heart and a flat cap, bringing a touch of British flair to the party.
• Clemont Lemon: A zesty lemon wedge bursting with citrusy charisma.

Monday 28th July, 2025- Fresh off the success of the original immersive concept, and May’s delightful additions of the Amuseables Sausage, Michelle Mussel and Amuseables Onnie Pickled Onion, Jellycat is bringing a delicious new selection of charming characters and decorative features to delight collectors and fans alike.
• Amuseables Fish Pie: This lovingly crafted character boasts fuzzy brown fur, brown corduroy boots, a darker fur “crust,” and a stitched fish detail adorning the top of the pie.
• Amuseables Jesse Can of Pop: This sparkling character bubbles with personality, sporting a metallic silver top, bright blue stripes, and a fuzzy smiling lemon ‘logo’ stitched front and centre - complete with jaunty black cord boots.
• Leicester Pigeon: Meet the quintessential London gent, with a round purple tummy, teal collar, and dapper dark grey wings striped in white. His pretty pink feet and sweet little beak add a touch of cheeky charm.
