Following the success of its debut in Asia in 2024 as part of Jellycat's 25th anniversary celebrations, the Jellycat CAFÉ Shanghai Pop-Up Experience made a sweet return on September 4th, 2025, and has now come to a close. Alongside the much-loved coffee elements, the concept was refreshed with playful tea culture inspirations, bringing visitors an even more imaginative and joyful experience during its run.

The Jellycat Shanghai pop-up was carefully designed to enhance immersion, blending whimsical storytelling with thoughtful creativity at every turn. Inspired by an open-concept dessert atelier, the beloved Bartholomew Bear stepped into the role of pastry chef, guiding guests through a delightful journey of dessert-making.

In parallel, Jellycat launched a pop-up general store at Plaza 66, Shanghai, creating layered touchpoints for exploration and offering joyful installations throughout the mall.

During the event, actress Yang Mi made a surprise appearance as Jellycat Joy Collaborator. Her visit to the Jellycat Shanghai CAFÉ showcased a perfect fusion of fashion and joyful, as she integrated Jellycat elements into her look and interacted naturally with Jellycat, bringing the brand’s joyful spirit to life.

As visitors stepped into the Jellycat Shanghai CAFÉ, they were greeted by an enchanting array of new characters. Highlights included Leola Bear with Strawberry Cake, Amuseables Melbie Peach Cake, and Amuseables Berrity Latte, which aligned seamlessly with the dessert theme. Tea culture also took center stage with whimsical characters such as Amuseables Vividdy Teapot and Amuseables Ool & Ong Teacups, offering a unique cultural dimension. Meanwhile, the Thistlepop Blossom Luxe Bunny and Thistlepop Blossom Bunny Bag Charm paid tribute to Shanghai’s iconic magnolia, merging local identity with Jellycat’s playful aesthetic.

Following the success of the Jellycat CAFÉ Shanghai Pop-Up, the Jellycat CAFÉ Beijing Pop-Up brought the joyful experience of coffee and tea to the capital, welcoming Jellyfriends on a journey of joyful discovery. As Jellycat's first experience in Beijing, the pop-up marked a memorable chapter in the brand's joyful story with the city.

To create a unique city imprint for the Jellycat CAFÉ Beijing Pop-Up, Jellycat introduced the Blushkin Blossom Luxe Bunny and a matching Blushkin Blossom Bunny Bag Charm. Inspired by Beijing's iconic flower, the Chinese rose, its delicate pattern is beautifully woven into the bunny's ears, seamlessly blending Jellycat's playful charm with the city's cultural elegance.
