By becoming a Jellycat Purrks member (“Member”), you agree to accept these Terms and Conditions. Before signing up, please read through these Terms and Conditions carefully to make sure you are happy to agree to what they say and the contract they will form between us if you choose to sign up.
If you do not agree to all of the terms set out here, you should not sign-up to Jellycat Purrks.
1. General Information

What is Jellycat Purrks?
Jellycat Purrks is one of the ways we are trying to reward our customers for their support and bring joy to Jellycat fans.
By becoming a Member, you will be able to access a range of Jellycat Purrks Services (“Services”). Services are subject to change but include the opportunity to earn points and move up tiers when you purchase eligible products, receive exclusive digital and physical merchandise, brand content and other Jellycat collectables, as well as access exclusive games.
Signing up to Jellycat Purrks is free and these Services are intended as an additional benefit to our loyal customers.
What are these Terms and Conditions for and to whom do they apply?
These Terms and Conditions apply to all Members and their access and use of the Services.
They contain important information including:
- Eligibility
- Sign-up process and requirements.
- Accessing the Services
- How we may occasionally alter these T&Cs.
- Other important terms and conditions.
Please note, additional terms and conditions will apply when accessing particular services within Jellycat Purrks. For example, when using our website to access Services, the Jellycat Website Terms of Use will apply.
2. Eligibility
To sign up to Jellycat Purrks, you:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be an individual – businesses cannot make Accounts.
- Must not be a Jellycat employee.
3. Sign-up Process
To sign up for Jellycat Purrks, you must have an account on www.jellycat.com (“Account”). Your Account will be your own personal and private way to access and engage with Purrks Services available to you. Your Account can also be used to access other various online services on the Jellycat Website.
If you do not already have an account, you can sign up for Jellycat Purrks at the same time as creating one.
You can only create an Account and sign up for Jellycat Purrks on www.jellycat.com.
What information is required to set up a Jellycat Account?
To create an Account, you will need to provide the following personal information (“Account Information”):
- Email address
- Password
- Confirm Password
- Title
- First Name
- Last Name
- Address
- Phone Number
This information is required so we can accurately identify you when providing Purrks Services and other services available on the Jellycat Website. For more information on data privacy and how we process your personal information please see Privacy and Cookies - Official Jellycat.
Providing and maintaining accurate Account Information
Please note, account holders are responsible for ensuring that all Account Information provided is accurate and up to date. If you need to update your Account Information, this can be done in your ‘Account Details’ section of your Account.
4. Points & Tiers
As Members earn points, they will move up Purrks Tiers and access greater rewards and benefits. There are two ways to earn points: (1) through product purchases on the Jellycat Website and (2) through completing Challenges and gaining badges. Points have no cash value.
Earning points when you purchase
The points value of each product will be displayed on the relevant product detail page. All points values are the same across territories. Once a Member purchases a product, the points will be added to their Account after the item has been dispatched. If the product is returned, the accompanying points will be deducted from the Account and you may be moved down a Purrks Tier immediately.
Earning points by Account engagement
Members can also gain a limited number of points per tier through completing Challenges. Examples of Challenges include adding to and sharing wish lists, playing Jellycat Purrks games and voting on Jellycat Purrks polls.
Expiration of points
Members’ points are calculated on a rolling basis. The points gained from any one purchase will apply to your account for 12 months after the date on which they are credited. After 12 months, those points will be removed from your account.
Depending on your new points total, you may move down a Purrks Tier as a result of points expiring. However, each Member is guaranteed an initial 12 months in any Tier they move into. This will not apply if you move down a Tier as a result of points being deducted following a product return.
5. Code of Conduct
Members obligations
We respect the rights of others and as a Member you are expected to do the same. You must not use Jellycat Purrks in any way that:
- violates the law;
- infringes on another person’s rights or Jellycat’s rights; or
- is reasonably considered to be threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, offensive, pornographic, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, inflammatory or blasphemous.
Fraud and Improper Use
Fraudulent behaviour or improper use of Purrks Services is strictly prohibited. This includes:
- Using a single account for use by multiple persons.
- An individual creating multiple accounts.
- Providing false personal information or personal information belonging to another person when signing up for Jellycat Purrks.
- Attempting to gain points and benefits through improper means or using Jellycat Purrks in a way we reasonably consider is in bad faith or in a way designed to unfairly obtain an advantage.
Technical Harm
Members must not use Purrks Services in a way that is technically harmful, including but not limited to tampering with the software.
Consequences of misuse
Jellycat, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Membership of any Member considered to have violated this Code of Conduct or otherwise deduct points, impose a tier reduction or remove access to specific services.
6. Account closure and termination
Voluntary termination
You can terminate your Membership at any time on the Jellycat website or by contacting Jellycat Customer Service by email or telephone.
Automatic termination
Accounts that are inactive for a period of 24 months will be closed.
Termination by Jellycat
Jellycat reserves the right to suspend or terminate Memberships at its sole discretion.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All Intellectual Property rights and Moral rights belonging to Jellycat are herein reserved. This includes our trademarks, copyright, logos, designs, graphics, text, content, images, trade secrets and other materials.
Becoming a Member grants you a personal, non-transferrable and non-exclusive license to private, non-commercial use of the Services which is revoked upon your account being terminated for any reason. Members may not make any unauthorised use of Jellycat intellectual property.
8. Force Majeure
Jellycat shall not be liable for any delay or failure in the performance of its obligations for so long as and to the extent that such delay or failure results from events, circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control.
9. Limitation of Liability
Jellycat uses all reasonable efforts to ensure the Services are fit for purpose and in line with industry standards. However, Jellycat makes no warranties or representations as regards the Services. To the extent permitted by law, Jellycat assumes no liability or responsibility for any damages or other loss incurred due to use of the Services.
10. Variation to the Services
We will make changes to the Services, including adding, removing and adjusting specific benefits, in order to keep Jellycat Purrks engaging to our Members.
We may also make technical changes and improvements which may on occasion interrupt Members’ access to these Services.
11. Variation to these Terms and Conditions
Jellycat reserves the right at all times to make any changes to these Terms and Conditions. Members will be given reasonable notice to any material changes made unless a change is required to protect the integrity of Jellycat Purrks or to address fraud, misuse or legal compliance. Continued participation in Jellycat Purrks after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions. Members who do not accept these changes will have their Membership terminated in accordance with Section 6 of these Terms and Conditions.
Members are free to terminate their Membership at any time.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Jellycat, with the exception of any further Terms and Conditions applicable to specific services, rewards or promotions.
If any provision or part-provision in these Terms and Conditions becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable it shall be deemed severable and shall not affect any other provisions or part-provisions contained herein.
If there is any variation between the English version of these Terms and Conditions and a translated version, the English version shall prevail.
13. Governing Law
To the extent permissible by local law, these Terms and Conditions and their subject matter shall be governed exclusively by English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising out of or in connection with it.
