Bashful Monkey teaches geography – though her lessons are less “chalk and talk” and more re-enactments of natural wonders (she does a very convincing waterfall impression). 

She’s a firm believer in hands-on learning – which once led to a school trip being stranded in a mangrove swamp. (“It was immersive,” she insists.) Her students adore her, mostly for her off-topic tangents and deeply sincere love of contour maps. 

Out of class, you’ll find her swapping travel tales with Clyde Capybara – or napping beneath a globe. (She says it helps with lesson planning.)

    The face of this monkey is so cute and adorable. When it first arrived, it definitely did not disappoint. My son has had this bashful monkey for 2 years now and has named him Max. Max is still a part of his toy collection and he regularly sleeps with him. Jellycats are the perfect bedtime companions as they are so soft and cuddly!

    I got my first small bashful monkey when I was born and I have loved it ever since. I loved it so much in fact that I bought 2 more and was gifted a medium and a huge one as well. They have always been my favourite jellycats and I hope they come back in stock.

    My daughter had her monkey since she was born and recently it was lost she is cars and depends on her monkey and we did not find it, I am looking everywhere and I can't find it, she had the cuddly monkey huge, please bring it back to the market, that will make many children happy and my daughter will be able to smile as always

    My son is devastated, he has had bashful monkey since he is six months old and recently we cant find it He is gonna be 10 soon and Autistic and still very attached to this amazing teddy bear that has brought him so much joy. Bought it at Chapters/Indigo Ottawa back in 2014.
