King of the rugby pitch, Bashful Lion can do it all. Drop kicking, tackling, passing, it’s all in his locker, though he does have an issue with popping the ball!

Despite his cuddly appearance, he’s surprisingly scrappy. Always first into the ruck, always last to take credit – rugby is a “gentlelion’s sport” after all.

Off the field, he’s all soft paws and shy smiles. A lion of few words – unless it’s about scrum technique, in which case: pull up a chair.

    He is adorable. We were given him as a gift. I didn’t know about not washing and drying. His mane felted :( It is a tangled mess and when brushed out it still has a felted consistency. His body did great in the washer and dryer and is still soft. He is a sweet guy but I only found out about the washing recommendations after looking up the brand name when trying to find another one for my little guy. It’s hard to have a toy that is hand wash and dry only when it’s intended for children.
